Serving our clients with excellence, efficiency and a culture-focused process to ensure a lasting legacy

Legacy Veterinary Advisors was started with a goal of providing a higher standard of service and a more efficient process than what is currently offered in the veterinary industry. Most business brokers do not provide the necessary documents, financial calculations or key details buyers need to make their best offer. This leads to a lot of back-and-forth communication that ultimately slows down the process and can result in a lower purchase price if key financial information is missing.

Legacy Veterinary Advisors is also home to the only culture-focused selling process available. The culture-fit aspect of a practice sale is neglected by most other brokers and can lead to some terrible outcomes after a sale. We ensure culture-fit is the focus from the start of our process.

With our focus on efficiency and culture-fit, we are raising the bar with our unmatched level of service.”

About Legacy Veterinary Advisors

Having worked on $250 million in veterinary practice acquisitions from the buyer’s perspective, we know exactly what is needed to make the selling process easy and efficient. We’ll gather everything needed up front, perform our own valuation analysis and put together a complete package for buyers to review. The result? Little to no questions and a strong, confident offer from a buyer in weeks instead of months.

About Legacy Veterinary Advisors

Zach Pittman

Founder & CEO

Zach Pittman was a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst for Southern Veterinary Partners and worked on $250 million in veterinary practice acquisitions during his time there. He gathered documents, performed practice valuations, prepared investment presentations, and created offer letters for each one of his deals. He also had the opportunity to participate in the meetings where the C-Suite discussed potential acquisitions and made their offer decisions. This unique experience not only gave him a strong understanding of the selling process, but also insight on what truly drives the value of a practice to buyers.

Prior to his time at Southern Veterinary Partners, Zach was a Credit Analyst & Portfolio Manager at Regions Bank. He worked in two highly specialized areas of lending, SBA and Government & Nonprofit. He performed credit analysis, created loan approval packages and managed a portfolio of clients. This experience helped him become very familiar with business analysis and the lending process.

Client Testimonials

We are proud to serve our clients with excellence and efficiency. Our goal is to provide the best experience possible for our clients.

Zach gave me and my veterinary clinic individual attention. He helped me to present my clinic in an efficient manner to several corporate partners and then helped set up interviews and compare them. We decided what fit I wanted and received several LOI’s which Zach then helped me renegotiate to come to the best offer from my preferred corporate partner. All done in a speedy manner of 2 months. I am very happy with the stellar service and attention Legacy Veterinary Advisers gave me.

It was a pleasure to work with Zach at Legacy Vet Advisors. He goes the extra mile to put a polish on your practice to present it to its fullest potential for prospective buyers. He listened to our needs and put us in front of like-minded buyers so we could feel comfortable with moving forward with our sale.

Zach was instrumental in helping me evaluate, market, and eventually sell my veterinary practice. Zach was very thorough and honest in my practice evaluation and based on my practice culture, facilitated meetings with like-minded groups. I feel confident that these introductions allowed me to partner with the best possible group that would take care of my staff and continue the practice legacy.”
